2026 BBK ESG Hub Cámarabilbao awards

Awards are given to companies that have started on a solid trajectory towards implementing an ESG management model that includes sustainability in a systematic and transversal way in their organisation.

Companies that have their headquarters or have economic activities in Biscay can sign up.

2026 Call for Applications

  1. Environmental Innovation Award Organizations with a dedicated focus on environmental stewardship and decarbonization through original, innovative initiatives.

  2. Sustainable Social Innovation Award Organizations addressing social issues through their own initiatives.

  3. Best ESG Integration in SMEs Award
    Two awards will be presented:
    1. SMEs that place special emphasis on ethical, environmental, and social practices and have integrated ESG criteria into their management model.
    2. Newly created companies in which sustainability represents a strategic pillar of their business or management model

2024 Winners

  1. Prize for environmental innovation
    Tubos Reunidos Group, for developing the first seamless steel tube with net-zero carbon emissions.

  2. Prize for sustainable social innovation
    Mutualia, for its programme which addresses diversity, promoting equity and inclusion in the workplace.

  3. Prize for the SME that best integrates ESG criteria
    Zabalgarbi, for its commitment to sustainability, bringing together waste valorisation, energy efficiency and innovation.

  4. Honourable mention of the panel
    Bromalgae, for its original “liquid trees” technology, with a carbon assimilation capacity 25 times greater than that of terrestrial trees.
